Spartans to host summer football camps
La Crosse, WI: The La Crosse Spartans, a second-year franchise in the Indoor Football League, have announced that their coaches and players will be holding football camps for area youth this summer. The team will host nine week-long camps in the La Crosse area, including the towns of La Crosse, Holmen, West Salem, Sparta, Viroqua, La Crescent, Tomah, and Onalaska beginning in late June.
Entire defense name IFL P.O.W.
La Crosse, WI: It’s been a season of firsts for the La Crosse Spartans franchise, filled with their first over .500 record, their first winning streak and now they have been the first entire unit to be named as IFL player of the week. After completing the IFL’s first-ever shutout, the Spartans entire defensive unit was named the Week 11 Vidswap.com Defensive Player of the Week.
