Aubrey Hollnagel, 26; Coordinator
What I currently do: Visit Coordinator - Saint Mary's University of Minnesota's Office of Admission, Head Coach of the Aquinas High School Dance Team, Member of Grand River Singers
Dance background: This is my 2nd year as a Lady Spartan. I have 24 years of dance experience including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and dance team. I grew up dancing at Marilyn’s School of Dance until I joined the Aquinas Dance Team in high school. I danced for the Saint Mary's University performance and competition dance teams and was captain 3 of my 4 years. I recently spent 5 years teaching dance at a local studio. And currently, I am dance captain for the Grand River Singers.
Most excited for this season: I'm most excited to perform and to meet the fans! I am so lucky to have the opportunity to do what I love to do alongside so many other talented dancers and in support of such a great organization.
Danielle King, 24; Co-Captain
Kelsey Molzahn, 21; Co-Captain
What I currently do: Intern at Trane Company/Western Technical College/Business Management Program
Dance background: This is my 2nd year on the Lady Spartans dance team. I competed for 4 years on the Onalaska High School Varsity Dance Team doing Jazz, Hip-hop and Pom. We brought home three state 2nd place medals. I started off at the age of 3 doing studio dance. I had 12 years of studio training with Ballet, Jazz, and lyrical. For 1 year, I was a Kiddy Kat mini cheerleader for the La Crosse Bobcats.
Most excited for this season: I’m so excited to perform with all the girls!!!!!! We have an awesome team this year! Can’t wait for everyone to see us!
Tiffany Brookman, 20
What I currently do: I am currently a sophomore at UW-L studying School Health Education and possibly a minor in English. I plan on becoming a high school health teacher after I graduate.
Dance background: I started out taking studio classes at Marilyn’s School of Dance in Tomah for 9 years including ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and lyrical, along with various workshops. I was part of the summer performing company there for a couple years as well. I was on the Tomah High School dance team, and I was also a member of the Tomah show choir throughout high school. I currently take classes at Amanda’s Academy of Dance, and I was also a member of the Lady Spartans last year.
Most excited for this season: I am most excited to be able to perform more with everyone on the team and to become more involved in the La Crosse Community.
Maria Burud, 20
What I currently do: I currently attend University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and am majoring in Therapeutic Recreation with a minor in Psychology. I also am a dance instructor at Misty’s Dance Unlimited in Onalaska, Wisconsin.
Dance Backround: I have been dancing since I was four years old and have been trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, and modern dance. My training began at Kehl School of Dance in Madison, WI. I then attended Ballet Madison, Storybook Ballet, The Madison Professional Dance Center and was a member of the Madison Ballet Company. I performed in Madison Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker eight years in a row and also performed for two years on the Senior Dance Company at Madison Professional Dance Center.
Most excited for this season: I cannot wait to PERFORM! I am excited to share my passion with others while also cheering on a great team and great organization.
Ashley Cary, 22
What I currently do: I'm currently a junior at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. I'm studying Communications with an emphasis in Broadcasting and Digital Media and a minor in Sports Broadcasting.
Dance background: I have been dancing since I was 3 years old. I danced at C & C Dance Studio in my hometown until it closed my freshman year of high school. I was a member of the Washington Community High School Dance Team for 3 years. I also was a member of the Senior Company at Kim's Academy of Dance and the Twin Cities School of Ballet in Bloomington, IL.
Most excited for this season: The thing I'm most looking forward to is performing in front of our fans and learning and being a part of the La Crosse Community and the surrounding areas.
Stephanie Fish, 20
What I currently do: I currently attend Western Technical College where I am majoring in Marketing and Graphic Design. I also work at Quizno’s Subs, and during the summer, I teach summer school dance classes through La Crosse Public Schools.
Dance Background: I have been dancing since I was about three years old. I went to a few studios but the main studio I went to was Misty’s Dance Unlimited. I was on the dance team all four years of high school and was one of the captains my senior year. I also have taught dance classes for summer school for the La Crosse School District.
Most excited for this season: The thing I am looking forward to the most is performing. I love to perform and can’t wait to be doing something I love. I am also looking forward to getting to know all the girls better and make memories with them.
Stephanie Hendrickson, 23
What I currently do: Work in Mortgage Processing for Marine Credit Union
Dance Background: I started dancing at the age of 12. I danced at Misty’s Dance Unlimited in Onalaska, WI until my senior year of high school. I also competed on my high school dance team my sophomore through senior year, and was a captain my senior year. I took a break from dancing while receiving my bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University-Mankato, and I am excited to get back into things!
Most excited for this season: To become more involved in the La Crosse area, and to be performing again!
Brianna Herber, 22
What I currently do: Senior Theatre Performance major and Dance minor at Viterbo University
Dance Background: Dance team and show choir through high school, club dance, dance minor, teaching dance for Warriors Baton and Drum Corps.
Most excited for this season: Choreographing
Meg Kohlmann, 18
What I currently do: Freshman at UW-La Crosse, majoring in Communications
Dance Background: Danced for a total of 15 years at Accent On Dance in Waukesha, WI and danced competitively for three years.
Most excited for this season: I'm excited to dance and pump up the crowd! =]
Stephanie Lightbody, 19
What I currently do: I attend University of Wisconsin - La Crosse with a Chemistry Education major, and I spend four out seven days of the week dancing between studio dance and Lady Spartans.
Dance background: I have 10 years dance experience split between dancing in studios, being on the gymnastics team, and being a member of the Tomah Varsity Dance Team my Junior and Senior years of high school.
Most excited for this season: I am hoping that this season will bring me many new friendships, lasting memories, and an awesome time. I am most excited to perform with a group of girls that share a love for dance!
Katie Stapleton, 24
Currently do: I work full time at Victoria's Secret.
Dance experience: I took studio classes for 13 years in ballet, jazz, hip hop, and lyrical; the first 5 of which I was part of a professional Ballet Academy in New Mexico. I was also on my high school dance team for 2 years. I then took a break from dance classes, only taking one year of college level ballet while I earned my bachelors degree at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Most excited for this season: Being back on a team and being able to perform!
Briesanna Warden, 25
What I currently do: I currently teach at Misty's Dance Unlimited in Onalaska. I teach hip hop, jazz, lyrical, kids classes, and Junior Performance Company 1.
Dance Background: I started dancing freshman year of High School at Misty's Dance Unlimited. I have trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop. I was in a professional dance company called "Ingredients" in Dallas Texas where I traveled around and performed as well as assisted teaching classes. I was also in a profesional hip hop company called "Elements" in Houston Texas. Now I teach dance for a living!
Most excited for this season: I am most excited about getting to meet new people in the area and being
able to perform at games !

What I currently do: Work for Buffalo Wild Wings, Western Technical college for Business Management
Dance Background: 8 years of Gymnastics, Some studio training at Misty's dance unlimited, 4 years on Onalaska High School Dance team, 2 as a Captain.
Most excited for this season: Perfomances and giving back to the community
Kayla Wegner, 21
What I currently do:I am currently a junior majoring in Dental Hygiene. I currently teach dance at Misty's Dance Unlimited, organize houses, and serve at Applebee’s.
Dance background: I have been dancing for 18 years. I have been trained in ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, lyrical, hip hop, and I enjoy taking salsa and modern. I have now been teaching at Misty's for the past 5 years and love it! I specialize in hip hop/break dancing, and I help run the guys only program at Misty's. I was on Performance Company at Misty's for 6 years. I was in competitions and traveled the U.S. dancing in places like Disney World and in New York for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I also cheered for 8 years and was a captain for 3 years.
Most excited for this season: I am so excited to get out on a field and perform again! I love getting to know the ladies. I can't wait to cheer on the team this season!
What I currently do: I am currently a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse. I am currently working towards a Business major with a minor in Mathematics with a Statistics Emphasis.
Dance Background: I have been dancing since I was five years old at En Avant Dance Studio in Eau Claire, WI. During my High School years I competed with Eau Claire School of Dance and Regis High School Varsity Dance Team. My freshman year of college I danced with St. Cloud Dance Team in St. Cloud, MN. Thus leading me to my latest task: The La Crosse Spartans Dance Team here in La Crosse, WI.
Most Excited For: To learn new choreography.
What I currently do: I am the assistant soccer coach to the Logan Varsity Soccer Team this spring season. My main thing is I travel around the world water-skiing and being in different stunt shows. This summer I will water-ski at the Tommy Bartlett show in Wisconsin Dells, WI.
Dance Backround: I started dancing in high school and I was on varsity dance team for all four years and was captain for my senior year. I am also the head of all dancing at Tommy Bartletts where I choreograph and teach dances to all the water-skiers.
Most excited for this season: I am most excited to be part of a team where I can make friends and perform! I love doing all types of dances and sharing my love of dancing with others! This season is going to be great fun and I look forward to the rest of the season!
